For a new launch in early 2013, Cartier introduced a new Calibre de Cartier chronograph. The new chronograph is equipped with calibre 1904-CH MC, which is fully made in-house, featuring a vertical clutch. Available in a round 42mm stainless steel or yellow gold case, with options for a stainless steel/yellow gold strap or a leather strap.
The Calibre de Cartier Chronographwas revealed by Cartier’s renowned watchmaker, Carole Forestier-Kasapi, who won the 2012 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève.
The bridges and oscillating weights are adorned with traditional Côtes de Genève and are visible through the transparent sapphire crystal case back. The date window on the dial has been moved from the 3 o’clock position of the previous model to the 6 o’clock position to better balance the new chronograph subdials. The crown is seven-sided, with sapphires inyellow gold and spinels in stainless steel. Cartier will also announce other 2013 models in the coming weeks for the Salon de la Haute Horlogerie in Geneva in January.

Received it, the watch is very nice. I used to wear an Apple Watch, but now I feel different after changing to this mechanical watch. I still wear this watch when I wear formal clothes, and I wear the Apple Watch when I relax on weekends.👍
