Cartier’s “Appreciation of Watchmaking Savoir-faire”was unveiled at the IFC boutique. From now until 10 November, Cartier is uncovering the secrets behind its timepieces through vivid miniatures, showcasing the Maison’s expertise in the refinement, design, and craftsmanship of Haute Horlogerie movements. At the same time, rare and high-quality timepieces such as Cartier’s Haute Horlogerie, High Jewellery, andMétier-Deutsche Masters watches are also on display, letting visitors experience Cartier’s watchmaking savoir-faire in all its aspects.
Through 12 showcases under five themes, Cartier’s “Appreciation of Exquisite Watchmaking Techniques” reveals the long, complex, and meticulous process of Cartier watchmaking from design to creation. In the “Complication Movement Assembly” showcase, modern technology and traditional handcraft are blended, demonstrating Cartier’s efforts and achievements in upholding the spirit of Swiss watchmaking and continuously seeking innovation. The “Art of Jewellery” and “Art of Gem-setting” showcases carefully illustrate the detailed work of master jewellers from selection, polishing to setting, and fully display the century-old achievements of the great jewellers.
