When you think of Cartier, you might first think of the “Blue Balloon”, one of Cartier’s most iconic watch collections. Today, however, we are discussing the TANK collection, which is also typical of the brand. With its simple and precise lines, it is considered the epitome of Cartier’s elegant style. At the Shanghai Watch Fair in April, we saw several new TANK collections launched by Cartier this year, the most eye-catching of which was the colorful TANK LOUIS CARTIER.
In 1922, Louis Cartier redesigned the TANK collection, stretching the case to make the lugs more slender and refined, and the TANK LOUIS CARTIER was born. We can also think of the Tank L.C. as a sub-series of the TANK watch. Viewed from the side, the 18-carat rose gold case has sleek lines, rounded and soft corners, and the vertical lugs have been polished to look more refined.
With dimensions of 33.7 x 25.5 mm and a thickness of just 6.6 mm, this watch is lightweight and comfortable. The design of the dial mainly uses classic rectangular elements, and the staggered rectangles show the characteristics of the TANK series vividly. The blue-and-gray color of the dial is perfectly matched with gold sword-shaped hands, while the Roman numerals and gold “minute tracks” enhance the dial’s character.

I may be getting promoted this year, but my boss needs to sign for it, so I bought this watch and planned to give it to my boss. It’s still in my house now. It’s very beautiful. I think he’ll like it. I’ll make an appointment with him on the weekend. I gave it to him when I went to have coffee,
