To celebrate the 170th anniversary of the brand’s watchmaking and to honor the Art Deco exhibition of 1925, Cartier presents the new Tank Louis Cartier (Ref. CRWGTA0121). Combining a platinum case with an Art Deco blue dial, this watch is only available for the European market.
Measuring 33.7 mm long, 25.5 mm wide, and just 8.6 mm thick, the new model features a 950 platinum case that has been alternately polished and brushed for a refined elegance. Equipped with a mineral crystal, a crown set with a cabochon ruby, and a platinum case back, this watch is water-resistant to 30 meters. The case back is engraved with limited edition lettering and has space for personal engraving.
The dial is in a deco style, laser-engraved with delicate textures and PVD to achieve a blue color, and the play of lines and light gives a visual effect of depth and color. Rhodium-plated stainless steel sword-shaped hands complement oversized Roman numerals.
Powered by the ultra-thin hand-wound 1917MC oval movement, just 2.9 mm thick, it contains 19 jewels and beats at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz) and offers a power reserve of 38 hours.

My son is in college. When he comes home from vacation, I will give him a surprise and buy him a watch. We both like it very much. I hope my son will like it too.

After a long time of hesitation, I bought this watch. It looks young and fashionable when I wear it. I observe the accuracy every day and it did not disappoint me. The workmanship is still very good, and the movement quality is very good. It’s just that there is no discount recently.
