Floating like a balloon and sapphire-blue, the Cartier Ballon Bleu de Cartier adds a touch of elegance to both men’s and women’s wrists. The new Ballon Bleu de Cartier Carbon (Ref. WSBB0015) is covered with a black ADLC (Amorphous Diamond-Like Carbon) layer, giving it a casual and modern look without losing the classic style: a curved case, textured dial, Roman numerals, and sword-shaped hands.
The stainless steel case measures 42 mm in diameter, 13 mm in thickness, and is water-resistant to 30 meters. The black dial features large white Roman numerals and glowing sword-shaped hour and minute hands, while the slim seconds hand adds a hint of color to the black and white dial. As usual, the crown is set with a blue synthetic spinel, and the dial includes a small window for the date at 3 o’clock.
Powered by the Cartier-made Calibre 1847 MC automatic movement, it shows the hours, minutes, seconds, and date, and offers a power reserve of 42 hours. It comes with a sleek black calfskin strap and an ADLC-coated stainless steel folding clasp.
