With its square, rounded dial and exposed screws, the Santos collection has become a signature of Cartier. 112 years after Louis Cartier designed the Santos for his long-time aviator friend SANTOS, the Santos de Cartier 100 Carbon has been introduced.
The new Santos de Cartier 100 Carbon is a classic yet fresh watch with a black ADLC (Amorphous Diamond-Like Carbon) coating. This isn’t the first carbon-coated watch in the Santos line, as there’s already a gold ADLC-coated watch. The new Santos de Cartier 100 Carbon is made of stainless steel and features a new in-house movement, making it even more accessible.
The stainless steel case is coated with black ADLC, measures 51.1 mm x 41.3 mm x 13 mm, is water-resistant up to 100 meters, and has a sapphire crystal. The black dial features sword-shaped steel hour and minute hands (different from the usual blued steel hands) and red seconds hands, while the hours, minutes, and Roman numerals are coated with glowing material to improve readability. As usual, the crown is set with a blue synthetic spinel.
Powered by Cartier’s in-house 1847 MC automatic movement with central hours, minutes, and seconds, the watch provides a 42-hour power reserve, comes with an elegant black calfskin strap, and has a stainless steel ADLC-coated folding clasp.

The watch has a very textured feel and is very suitable for business people. After observing it for a few days, the error is only about 2 seconds. It is also suitable for washing hands and face daily. The waterproof performance should be very good and very convenient.👍👍👍
