This is Cartier’s new 2010 watch collection, and I recently admired it again at a watch shop in Hong Kong. I’ve always felt that looking at a watch at an exhibition like SIHH feels completely different from seeing the same thing in a relatively quiet, intimate watch shop like Hong Kong.
The latter is clearly more rational in terms of environment. Only reason can help us have a more objective evaluation and judgment of things. In fact, for a brand like Cartier, which has long been a member of fine watchmaking, launching a new watch collection is not easy. However, once they have a new product, it is likely to be a well-thought-out piece.
My assessment of the Calibre de Cartier collection is that the sense of lines and diversity conveyed in the design concept allows it to be presented in a resilient style that is different from the past, while also retaining the elegance and neutrality inherent in Cartier.
Wade Susan –
I bought it for my good friend’s birthday. I have received the watch. It is beautifully packaged and looks good, but I didn’t take it out. I will give it to him when he celebrates his birthday in a few days.
