The bead-shaped crown is surrounded by grippy particles for an easy hold, with a blue gem cabochon above the crown, adding a touch of classic elegance. The stainless steel bezel is polished to contrast with the case, creating a more layered look. The bezel is adorned with Cartier’s signature 8-screw design.
This is the first time that a Santos-Dumont watch has been reimagined in 2019, featuring a skeleton movement. Through the sapphire crystal, we can see the detailed structure, a tribute to the great aviator Albert Santos-Dumont.
In the lower left corner of the panel, we see that the miniature do, which takes up about one-third of the entire surface, resembles the “Lady” flying machine. The oscillating weight shaped like the aircraft seems to glide over the earth, highlighting its symbolic meaning. The Lady, a pioneer in aviation, was designed by Albert Santos-Dumont in 1907.

The overall feeling is OK, it is quite grand, and my husband also likes it. I will come here to buy it when I need it in the future. My husband has always wanted a watch of this brand, but the specialty store is too expensive. I think he will be satisfied this time.
