Exactly a century ago, the Cartier Tank series was born with the rise of the aviation industry. Today, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Tank collection, the brand presents a wide range of commemorative timepieces, including six new Tank Louis Cartiers, the most basic modern Tank watches, available in diamond-set and non-diamond-set, rose and white gold, and in different sizes.
First, there is a pair of non-diamond-set watches, which are also the most notable models. Suitable for both men and women, the size and shape are perfect for any occasion. These are two rose gold watches, one slightly smaller (29.5mm x 22mm x 6.8mm) and the other slightly larger (33.7mm x 25.5mm x 6.6mm), both in a classic style. The silver-plated dial with blued steel hour and minute hands and traditional Roman numerals, with a crown set with sapphire cabochons, is powered by the hand-wound Caliber 8971 MC movement.
Next are a pair of large watches, one in rose gold and one in white gold, each adorned with two rows of brilliant-cut diamonds. Unlike the previous two watches, which had a sapphire cabochon on the crown, the crowns of these two watches are set with diamonds, which fits perfectly. As far as diamond-set watches go, these two watches are very subtle and classic.
