The OMEGA Museum in Biel, Switzerland, celebrates over a century of watchmaking history. To mark the 125th anniversary of the OMEGA name, guests from around the world relived the most significant moments in the brand’s history, including the legendary story of the brand’s name!
OMEGA has launched two new watches, including the De Ville Trésor 125th Anniversary, made from 18K yellow gold with a red enamel dial and a burgundy leather strap that reflects the iconic OMEGA colors.
At the same time, the famous 19-Reel caliber was revived in the 21st century. OMEGA collects parts from the museum’s collection of the original 19 Reams movement, including the mainplate, other bridges, escapements, and bimetallic hairsprings. These components will be used by the watchmakers to recreate 19 new 19 Reams in the OMEGA Tourbillon Workshop, which will be used in the new Semi-Hunt pocket watch.

I just got a new job, but this job is in Atlanta. Our whole family has to move there. My wife was reluctant at first, but I bought this watch for his father. His father liked it very much and said that this watch was his. Dai’s best piece, his father persuaded his daughter to agree to move there
