The Oyster Perpetual is Rolex‘s basic entry-level model, named after Rolex‘s famous Oyster “case,” which means that it has a rounded shape like an oyster and can be submerged for a long time without being affected.

As Rolex’s only formal collection, Cellini doesn’t get as much love as the sportier models, but it still has plenty to offer. First off, Cellini is the only series in the entire Rolex lineup with a leather strap and a transparent caseback. Instead of the usual Oyster case, Rolex went for a redesigned case with cool details like a coin pattern and a tapered crown.

Rolex is known for making bold, large three-hand watches, but the Cellini Ref. 50535 comes with a rare moon phase display, making it the only Rolex series with this feature. Rolex has skillfully added a unique touch to the Cellini while keeping its tough, signature style.
