24-year-old Leon Breitling founded the Breitling watch brand in Saint-Imier in 1884. So far, Breitling has provided cockpit clocks to major international airlines and made great contributions to the development of the civil aviation industry. This watch is the Navitimer 1884 limited edition. It has a really beautiful dial, black aircraft grain rubber, the small dial is slightly recessed, and it does have concentric rings, just like the original. Compared with the previous generation product, the date and month fonts are bolder. You’ll also notice that the markings on the navigation wheel don’t extend all the way to the edge like they did on the previous generation. Although the bezel rotates smoothly, it is easier to rotate than the previous generation. The most striking feature of the vintage-style Breitling instrument is its date display, which shows the day and month through adjacent windows, while a central half-moon hand indicates the time of day.
This watch is equipped with the iconic circular flight slide rule, which is deeply loved and respected by pilots and aviation fans, accompanying them on their legendary journey in the blue sky.
