Léon Breitling founded Breitling. Initially, the company mainly produced timepieces such as pocket watches, and in 1914 began producing watches with seconds and luminescence for the army. In 1915, Gaston · Breitling developed the first chronograph and provided the first navitimer for the pioneers of flight. Gaston · Breitling was not satisfied with this, and then separated the chronograph control system that handles start, stop and reset from the crown, and the first independent chronograph pusher was born, establishing Breitling’s status as the “pioneer of chronographs”.
