In the 1960s, the new sport of scuba diving became all the rage. For divers, timing is everything, and Breitling set out to provide them with a highly recognizable dive watch by eliminating any features that did not contribute to their underwater life-saving needs. This simple watch is named “Slow Motion.” It retains clean lines, striking luminous indexes, square hands, and a high-contrast dial ring, all designed to maximize readability. Practicality is one aspect, but what people really like is its appearance.
The new Superocean watch follows the famous design language while adding modern features such as a ceramic-inlaid bezel and a brightly colored dial. The thick hands and hour markers coated with Super-LumiNova® are very easy to read underwater. The watch is water-resistant to 300 meters (1,000 feet) and is shock, sand, and seawater resistant.
Both straps (rubber strap and metal bracelet) are equipped with a folding clasp that can be fine-tuned up to 15 mm, making it easy to wear over swimsuits and wetsuits. Its scratch-resistant ceramic-inlaid bezel will never wear or fade. For safety reasons, most bezel sizes are unidirectional, while the 44mm bezel is bidirectional with a patented locking device.
The most important thing is that it is no longer strictly a diving watch—but suitable for surfing, swimming, beach bars, going out to dinner, and other occasions.

The Breitling watch brand is a second-class first-class watch in the world’s top watch rankings. This kind of watch brand is the backbone of ETA, and most of them are ETA high-end cores, with certain transformation and polishing processes or design focus, occupying the mid-range and high-end fields. That’s why I like it and it’s a good price.
