Breitling‘s latest collaboration with Deus Ex Machina and Triumph motorcycles has received a significant upgrade with the addition of the Breitling-made movement Caliber 01.

Breitling uses Biarritz’s Wheels & Waves surf motorcycle festival as the backdrop. France has launched two latest versions in its Top Time series. First released in the 1960s, the brand’s “unconventional chronographs” were originally boldly designed to pay homage to the free-spirited nature of that era. ​

These two new timepieces build on the success of Breitling’s past collaborations with Deus Ex Machina and Triumph Motorcycles, culminating with the launch of the extraordinary Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01. Breitling CEO Georges Kern said: “These co-branded Top Time watches are designed for those who are as fascinated by the mechanics of the watch as they are by the mechanics of motorcycles.” The Breitling Caliber 01 is a finely tuned engine, with all the precision and attention to detail needed to build a perfect bike.

Following the two limited editions that sold out, Breitling has joined forces with Australian custom motorcycle and surf equipment manufacturer Deus Ex Machina to launch the third Top Time Deus, which will become part of Breitling’s core series.  It’s available on a black racing-themed calfskin strap or a mesh metal bracelet.
