When I introduced the Cartier Panthère Cheetah Decorative Jewelry Watch, I mentioned that for Cartier watchmaking, some complex watches and jewelry styles are quite worthy of everyone’s attention. Today, I will introduce you again to one such watch: Cartier‘s standout Grand Complication tourbillon watch, the Double Mystery Tourbillon Watch.
Why is the tourbillon a very representative complication for Cartier? Because in addition to the regular tourbillon style, Cartier has also launched models like the Double Mystery Tourbillon, the inverted tourbillon, and the celestial moving mystery tourbillon. All of these use the brand’s unique design ideas to reinterpret the tourbillon, a grand complication that keeps time in a remarkable way.
Returning to the Cartier Double Mystery Tourbillon, it was unveiled at the 2013 SIHH Geneva Show, featuring a polished 45 mm case in PT950 platinum. On the other side of the watch is Cartier‘s signature crown, which is embossed with beads around the crown and topped with a sapphire cabochon.
