At this year’s Haute Horlogerie de Genève, Cartier unveiled a number of new watches, including the much-admired Masse Mystérieuse, which features a semicircular movement as an oscillating weight, as well as the Chinese tank from the Privé collection and the Nine Square Gepasha. This series of watches once again embraces the jewelry-style watcheswith an innovative upgrade. Today, I will use a real picture to discuss the gemstone-reversed Coussin de Cartier.
The new Coussin de Cartier collection, named after the French words for pillow and cushion, is distinguished by its classic cushion-shaped case. It is currently crafted from rhodium-plated white gold, yellow gold, and other precious metals, with design themes featuring diamonds, colored gemstones, and more experimental soft cases. Cartier also mentioned that this model was designed to look stunning at night.
The two-color gemstone style introduced today features a 750/1000 gold cushion-shaped case, with a purity of 750 thousandths, commonly known as 18K gold. With a diameter of 30.44 x 33.78 mm and a thickness of 7.08 mm, it is the size of a compact and delicate ladies’watch.
