Cartier’s goal to blend beauty with watchmaking skills has this year extended to include complex and animal-shaped jewelry watches. The Rotonde de Cartier skeleton features the same bridges, movement, and classic Roman numerals from Cartier’s designs, along with the flying tourbillon in the 9455MC calibre, which has been awarded the Geneva seal of quality.
The tourbillon appears to break free from gravity and move freely on the wrist; Pasha de Cartier has added the Maison’s most prestigious jaguar symbol, with Cartier’s in-house 9613MC hand-wound movement, enhanced by pavé-set diamonds, offering a fresh take on the craftsmanship and skeleton style of animal jewelry watches.
