This extremely detailed and clever decorative technique, which reached its peak during the first millennium of the Etruscan civilization, is showcased by famous ancient objects decorated with “granulation étrusque”.

In the metal bead process, cut gold wire is heated until tiny beads form, and the whole process is like planting seeds of gold. The gold beads are then placed one by one in the areas to be decorated and mixed with the gold base to create a vivid three-dimensional pattern.
