In 2016, Cartier launched the Drive de Cartiercollection, an exceptional wristwatch for the independent, stylish man.
Recently, after hearing that the new rose gold and stainless steel models are now available in stores, we visited the Cartier retail store in the China World Summit Wing, Beijing. At a separate new product display, we saw two differentDrive de Cartier moon phase watches in various materials.
The new Rose Phase Moon Phase continues the design of the Drive de Cartier collection, with a sleek cushion-shaped case, a slightly raised crystal, and a simple white guilloché dial that is part of the collection.
On the dial, the striking sword-shaped blue steel hands are contrasted with the large Roman numerals around them, making the time very clear and easy to read. The moon phase is located at 6 o’clock, showing the new moon, the first quarter moon, the full moon, and the second quarter moon. It’s worth mentioning that the Moon Phase Display of theDrive de Cartier is of “astronomical” quality and is only adjusted every 125 years, making it very practical and reliable.
