The cheetah is an iconic symbol of Cartier, and in 1914 it was first introduced on a Cartier bracelet watch, with a delicate leopard print in the paving technique, which amazed the world and inspired the artist. Later, the famous Cartier designer, Louis Cartier‘s close collaborator, and nicknamed “Cheetah,” Madame Dussaint, continued the cheetah design. TODAY, CARTIER‘S PANTHÈRE DE CARTIER CHEETAH COLLECTION CONTINUES ITS STYLE IN A NEW CREATION, SHOWING A MODERN FASHION STYLE. (Reference: WJPN0014)
Created in 1983, the Panthère de Cartier does not directly show the body of the leopard but uses a metal bracelet to create a leopard-like effect with the play of light on the metal bracelet.
The case has a classic square design, made of 18-carat rose gold. The clean lines of the design reflect the simple yet remarkable traits of women. The precious metal texture reflects the elegant style of women. The small model’s size and the bezel, set with a circle of brilliant-cut diamonds, add a touch of luxury, and the smart use of classic elements highlights the modern watch style. The luxurious case is 6mm thick, with a feminine design. The smooth lugs sit comfortably on the wrist and are integrated into the case. Exuding natural elegance, the design of the watch is effortlessly stylish.
The silver-plated pearlescent dial continues the large Roman numerals of the Panthère de Cartier collection, while the railroad dial improves the clarity of the time display, and the blued steel sword-shaped hands emphasize feminine elegance.
