This year, the eighth chapter of the collection is introduced, featuring a modern take on one ofCartier’s most prestigious timepieces, the Tortue from 1912.
This year, in addition to the minimalist and elegant hours and minutes display model, Cartier presents a monopusher chronograph for the first time in the Cartier Privé collection. Created in 1912, the Tortue was inspired by a strong concept – a blend of smooth curves and compact lines.
Paying tribute to the original Tortue, the new model features apple-shaped hands and a minute track along the iconic outline of the indexes, making the dial easier to read.
