Rolex is pleased to announce the new 40mm model in the Explorer collection.The new Explorer 40 is made from Oystersteel, Rolex’s special alloy, which is simple, strong, and resistant to rust.
To mark the first successful climb of Mount Everest, the original Explorer was introduced in 1953. Like the Explorer 36, the Explorer 40 keeps the style of the original. The black lacquered dial with the numerals 3, 6, and 9 and the hands of a professional watch capture the spirit of adventure and determination in every detail.
The Explorer40 is made from Oystersteel and comes with an Oyster bracelet. The Chromalight display is easy to read in any light, giving off a long-lasting blue glow in the dark and a bright white in daylight. TheExplorer 40 is powered by the advanced calibre 3230, which shows the hours, minutes, and seconds with accuracy.

Comprei isso para o meu namorado como um presente de formatura e ele adorou. Tivemos que remover alguns elos, mas deu tudo certo. Eu estava preocupada com a possibilidade de o fecho se abrir com qualquer movimento do pulso, devido a algumas avaliações, mas não tivemos nenhum problema com isso.
