On the evening of Friday, May 26, the Rolex Arts Festival will start at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) in Athens with a gala to celebrate the Rolex Mentor and Protégé Arts Initiative, which marks its 20th anniversary. Generations of famous artists and art professionals who have been part of this project will gather in Athens to join the event with the Greek cultural community.
The evening will bring together many legends from music, theater, dance, film, visual arts, literature, and architecture, who have won awards from the Oscars to the Nobel Prize. The event will also be attended by protégés mentored by their mentors under the Rolex Protégé Arts Sponsorship Scheme, many of whom have been recognized for their talents.
Over the past 20 years, the Rolex Protégé Arts Sponsorship Programme has supported one-on-one mentorship and creative collaboration between master artists and young artists. From May 26 to 28, mentors and Rolex protégés will present 18 public events in Athens, including performances, readings, exhibitions, and discussions.

Fortunately, it’s not heavy, it’s waterproof, and everything else is fine. It’s made of stainless steel and the quality is very good.
