The new Cosmograph Daytona has been awarded the Superlative Chronometer certification (within plus or minus two seconds per day), which was redefined by Rolex in 2015. This unique designation certifies that each watch has successfully passed a series of tests carried out in the Rolex laboratory. The test is conducted after the watch has been assembled and the movement is mounted in the case to ensure that it performs optimally in terms of precision, power reserve, waterproofness, and self-winding when worn.
