Everyone must be familiar with the panda dial. This specially designed dial is generally used on chronograph watches. There are small dials at 3 o’clock, 6 o’clock, and 9 o’clock on the main dial. The white main dial with three black small dials is usually considered the most classic panda dial design, because it resembles the real panda in nature. But nowadays, panda dials in the watch field are very diversified with many options.
In my heart, the Omega Speedmaster Snoopy is a chronograph watch that always looks good. In 1970, Omega won the “Silver Snoopy Award” issued by NASA.
In 2020, Omega launched the Speedmaster series “Snoopy Award” 50th anniversary watch. The watch features a 42mm stainless steel case and an overall blue and white color scheme: a silver-white dial with a blue small dial, a blue ceramic bezel with a white enamel tachymeter scale, and a blue nylon strap with white stitching. The small blue dial at 9 o’clock is adorned with a “Snoopy” silver embossed medal, adding a whimsical touch.
When the chronograph second hand starts running, Snoopy on the back of the watch moves around the moon akin to the astronauts of Apollo 13. The earth’s disk rotates in sync with the watch’s small second hand, completing a rotation every minute. The watch is powered by the Omega 3861 manual winding movement, certified as a METAS Master Chronometer.
Ada Kit –
I went to a party yesterday and saw a classmate wearing a watch. I asked him where he bought it and he told me to buy it here. I studied it all night and the price was relatively reasonable. I just placed an order today and I look forward to it.
