In 2022, Breitling will cooperate with the traditional British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph for the first time. The collaboration between the two brands began with the release of the Breitling Speed Twin watches—one a 270-piece numbered watch for bike owners and the other for racing fans. A very limited edition bike from the 1970s, Document No. 815, and two Top Time Triumph watches—both of which feature a unique ice blue dial, a contrasting hue to the 1951 Triumph Thunderbird 6T. The color of the watch perfectly matches the rare Breitling blue dial.
This year’s Top Time Triumph watch is part of Breitling‘s core collection, and it gets a premium upgrade with the addition of Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01. The refined mechanism of the movement is now visible through a new open case design. The dial features dual registered speed measurement tachymeter scales, and Breitling and Triumph logos at 12 and 6 o’clock. Its eye-catching ice blue color is paired with your choice of a black racing-themed calfskin strap or a mesh metal bracelet.
Collectors are sure to pick up some vintage Breitling watches, including vintage logos, mushroom chronograph hands, and “Zorro” dial designs. The bow tie pattern, which debuted on Top Time in the 1960s (its nickname comes from the infamous Rogue Mask), cleverly uses a metallic brushing technique that is only visible under the mask to create a specific light.

Watch arrived earlier than expected and wearing it now while I write this review. Beautiful piece exactly as I pictured it.
