While the Supersonnerie watch‘s main claim to fame is that of being “the loudest luxury sports watch,” it also possesses a range of aesthetic qualities. The case features a tonneau-shaped vertical brushing process that helps highlight several highly polished surfaces throughout the bracelet, lugs, and bezel.
AP watchmakers used smoked prism gray tones, a simple layout design, and the iconic diamond-shaped dial on the dial with colorful decorations, creating a “low-key” aesthetic.
The small seconds hand has a ton of detail. The small dial is divided into two parts and uses a railway-style track to indicate the seconds—a seemingly unfashionable design, but it looks just right when paired with the large dial.
