This Calatrava 5196P has a 37 mm case made of platinum and is only a slim 7.68 mm thick, making it very comfortable to wear. The crown features a raised Calatrava cross.
Using silver Breguet numerals as scales, elegant willow hands display the time and minutes. At the same time, the small seconds scale at six o’clock is offset from the dial, with black Breguet numerals printed in ten-second increments. The twelve o’clock position is marked with the words “PATEK PHILIPPE” and “GENEVE,” which are perfectly integrated into the entire watch.
As a simple three-hand watch, the Calatrava series should be the most significant basic model in the history of modern watches. From Ref. 96 to Ref. 565 to Ref. 2508, and Ref. 2526, looking back every few decades, a series of representative works have been produced. This 5196P, produced from 2004 to 2022, has a rare restrained size among modern models, first-class metal Breguet numerals, and a two-tone dial treatment. The 5196P has been overlooked by the mainstream market for a long time, but its popularity among collectors continues. The 5196P, discontinued in early 2022, began to heat up in the secondary market, gradually becoming one of the series’ masterpieces.

I bought it during the last sale. The price is still very good. The time is also very accurate. I am very satisfied. I tried the waterproof function and there is no problem.

Recently I was negotiating with a large client in Jersey City. I found out that he prefers watches, so I bought a watch here. I have seen the watch and it is very high-end. I plan to give it to him the next time I go to negotiate.👍👍👍

I have always liked this brand of watches and finally bought one. I have a few other watches at home, all of which are very good watches. I have already adjusted the time and started using this one. There have been no problems at all these days.
